This is an idea I'm managing for a future project in which an electrician is working when he suffers occupational hazard. The general idea is supposed to be funny and to avoid shocking imagery or show signs of damage on the character. The gag is supposed to be at the end when the punch line reveals what caused the worker to get hurt. The punch line is to be preceded by a considerable amount of build up where the viewer is teased but never fully shown what is causing the accident. For this project I feel influenced by the many Hanna Barbera cartoons I watched in my childhood. Specifically I am very intrigued by the tendency of the characters to withstand physical abuse without getting injured, which, is a trope I want to explore in this piece( provided I could take it into production).
